Marge Axelrad Puts Eyewear on the Accessories Map

Marge Axelrad, Senior VP/Editorial Director of the Optical Retail Group was recently honored with a Hall of Fame tribute by the Accessories Council, a non-profit advocacy organization. This prestigious award recognizes individuals who have made a lasting and meaningful contribution to the world of accessories. With over 20 years of experience in optical, Marge has set the standard for industry knowledge and expertise. Marge is instrumental in promoting the optical industry, contributing to eyewear's recognition as a significant category in accessories.
The event was held at the swanky Top of the Rock, located atop Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. The event was co-sponsored by Marchon Eyewear and Pucci, who helped the Accessories Council transform the venue into an evening of Pucci-printed sensation. Pucci prints were brought to life, with models decked out in gorgeous Pucci dresses and Pucci Eyewear elegantly showcased throughout the venue, serving as a glamorous reminder of Pucci's iconic style. With the New York City skyline against the setting sun as a backdrop, Marge's industry colleagues toasted to her special achievement, turning the evening into truly a night to remember.
